Mardi Gras and Ice festival in Havre De Grace, Maryland

This weekend is Mardi Gras and also the ice sculpture festival in Havre De Grace, Maryland. I wanted to show how to make a hurricane cocktail. The hurricane cocktail is a traditional staple of Mardi Gras down in the south. It's best if you have a hurricane glass, but it tastes just as good in a regular cup as well. lol! Hurricane Cocktail

1.5 oz white rum

1.5. oz dark rum or spiced rum

.5 oz of triple sec or any orange flavored liquor

.5 oz lime juice

fill rest with (traditionally passion fruit juice but you can subsitute with pineapple as well)

and orange juice.

top off with a little grenadine and throw some beads around!
